HUCO Labs is a European project led by the Antonio Cuccovillo ITS Foundation, funded by the Erasmus+ program, which brings together Higher Technical Institutes, Universities, European Networks, and Companies to create a new model of collaboration between education and research.

The goal of the project is to train highly qualified technicians (EQF levels 5 and 6) capable of working in multidisciplinary research and development teams, where technological and human skills are integrated. HUCO Labs promotes “human-centered” laboratories and experimental training pathways dedicated to advanced manufacturing, the heart of Industry 5.0.

Through two international pilot pathways, the project aims to build a shared European platform and create true “European Technological Villages for Technicians”: spaces where students, researchers, and businesses collaborate to develop innovative and sustainable solutions.

As the lead partner, ITS Cuccovillo leads an international network of institutions and companies, strengthening Italy’s role in the European landscape of technical-scientific education and applied research.
